In the 80's, Floyd D. Rose signed a contract with Kramer to put Floyd Rose bridges as the factory configuration for their guitars. If i recall correctly one of the first guitars to include a Floyd Rose floating trem was the old Kramer Baretta or a similar model. This practice became more popular with EVH's Frankenstrat and later the Kramer 5150.

Where the heck have you seen a JazzMaster or an SG with a Floyd?!?? They’re supposed to have the tremolo that they come with.
