Irresponsible video title!
You should be reiterating how many inches of storm surge is expected and where, not telling people to let their guards down because the hurricane will weaken as it gets closer to land!
Yes it will weaken, but it will still make landfall as a major hurricane and the storm surge will still remain the same, that wont decrease
