Hurricane Milton expected to make landfall in Florida on Wednesday

Hurricane Milton continued tracking eastward as a powerful Category 4 storm early Tuesday morning, with forecasts showing it on a path to hit Florida's Gulf Coast mid-week.

20 years ago I lived in Florida and evacuated multiple times in advance of several hurricanes that slammed the state. The only thing I would like to pass along is BOARD UP as best you can, and GET OUT, just leave.!!

There's only two highways out of this state aside from us19. They are all jammed. How about opening up more lanes to go north?

I love how these storm victims decided to live where hurricanes normally and increasingly occur and then complain that FEMA isn’t doing enough to help them. Accountability for one’s own actions seems to be a rare thing these days.

People everywhere should always prep with extra food, water, medical supplies, emergency lights, extra clothing and blankets in emergency bag or tote to grab and go if needed etc. we never know😊
