In this live conversation with students, Teacher Tanya will talk about how to think in English and STOP translating in your head. She will answer questions on the live and in the comments if you watch the recording.

Have you seen our new video course, "How to Become More Fluent Using Instagram"?
For more information go to:

#EnglishCoach3Ts

REMEMBER if any of the conversation is difficult to understand you can turn on the subtitles with the "CC" button just below the screen. And, you can SLOW DOWN the speed of the video by clicking the "HD" button and choosing the playback speed. I recommend trying 0.75 or 0.5 and seeing what works best for you!

These below could be considered in helping us thinking in English or other languages :
#Name or describe (if unknown) the things that we see around. As continue with this, it becomes more of a habit, so things are going to pop up in mind.
#Think in sentences to what we see, feel, touch etc, starting from simple one. Once this becomes easy, you can move on to more difficult sentences.
#Describe our day using simple or even complex one.
#Thinking in conversation, imagining ourselves speaking to someone else. Asking the questions and thinking the replies. This could be a good way to practice what you might say in real coversation.
#Do not be lazy to practice in mind and be confident.
Nice share with you😊👍

I think it's helpful for me to read a book and listen its audiobook simultaneously, that force me to not think in Spanish. Although I don’t understand everything is a good exercise.

Thanks Tanya. It is a good idea to warm up our brain before conversation. I use to watch English YouTube everyday to keep my learning on going. I don’t know how much do I get every time, but I want to get a vibe of English.

Hello Tanya, how are you? I'm from Argentina and here our mother tonge is spanish, actually we speak "castellano". So, since you've been studying spanish for so long I'll write my comments in spanish, I'm sure you'll understand :) Descubrí tus clases hace muy poquito y me gustaron mucho cada una de ellas. Soy una de las primeras en ver tus videos apenas se publican. Muchas gracias y muchos éxitos!!!

You are very kind and nice. I must improve a lot of things, but my listening is my worst hability. However, I could understand you 80% of your speech. It happened because you speak slowly to help us.
Thanks so much!
