How to fix a Dishwasher Rack Assembly Fix/Repair Easy DIY and How to

Had an issue with my Kitchen Aid dishwasher and figured it was time to fix it. The Top rack assembly broke (rack adjuster). These plastic pieces seem to prematurely break maybe from the extreme heat of the dishwasher. Thankfully replacement parts are available and this is a easy fix for your diyer

Hello, i replaced the broken tabs on mine and everything is good now, only issue I am having is when i push the rack in it is rubbing against the gasket. Any ideas?

Those new parts won't last a year. They should have made that junk with metal.

The cheap plastic on the racks are always breaking. Worste design ever.
