Being out in public with no apparent reason or aimlessly wandering about is an exercise of freedom.

I found it funny that the only reason they even noticed him hanging out for a long time was because they were doing pretty much the same thing.

"This area is known for narcotic activity..."

Then arrest the area and leave the taxpayer alone.

He was not loitering, he was legally talking on his cell phone while NOT driving

So they said, "We sat and watched you and didn't see you do anything. Let me see your ID." The inherent mistrust of cops is well earned.

That female Officer is Crazy, telling the man to go home. He could go anywhere he wants.

Could’ve just walked up and told him he had a nice car and made sure he was good and didn’t need any sort of assistance. Crazy how hard community policing is so hard for so many officers

I wish i would have known my right years ago. Cop busted down my door for a body warranty so once they found the person they were supposed to stop looking. They tore my house apart, dumped my garbage on the floor along with any container in my house. It took me days to clean up stuff. I attempted to look for a lawyer but my mom talked me out of it. I shouldn't have listened.

"L-o-i-t-e-r-i-n-g. Look it up."
What a stand up thing to do. Insulting an individual's intelligence after violating their rights.

So let me get this straight. These cops suspect this man going about his business of dealing drugs while their chief of police actually was stealing and dealing meth? Wow man this shit's crazy.

Police: We noticed you have been parked here a while but, you’re not getting gas.
Mr. Hellcat: Well, I was going to park up front, but there are 3 fucking police cars taking up all the spots.

So, youre not allowed to drive while on the phone but, you're also not allowed to wait until your off your phone to drive, either. That makes perfect sense. That some great logic those officers have.

At the end, she STILL told him to "go home". She can't tell anyone to go home, or any other place. She just HAD to exert her authority over him, even in the absence of a crime. Glad she was removed from this job, the public deserves better.

What’s hilarious is that she basically admits at the beginning of the interaction they were doing exactly what he’s doing……sitting in the parking lot doing nothing for 30 mins. Something cops are famous for

"This area is known for criminal activity"...
Then arrest the area. Leave the man be.

It seems that the law requiring a person to explain their presence to dispel any alarm or concern is at odds with a right to remain silent.

“Do your business and head on home”. They literally think they have the right to control what this man does with his time. 🤔

I love how when people invoke their rights cops say their “making this difficult”

The man got out of his car to make a phone call. I'd much prefer that to him talking or texting on the phone while driving.
