Why Persona 5 Royal Should Be Worth Your Time

Persona series has helped me through some difficult moments in my life, persona 4 helped me get through the financial crisis in late 2000s by giving me hope and strength, persona 5 in the other hand reminded me that there's always corruption in this world by those in power based in their career position and also show human true nature and how evil they can be.

I just recently finished the Japanese version of P5R and here’s what I found the best:
1) the new characters were great (Kasumi and Maruki) and the reason why they are here didn’t feel forced
2) some new great OSTs, especially later on in the game you hear a lot of new great stuff
3) showtime, the finisher moves they added where a cutscene plays, are super cool
4) new personas, the rework of technical damage where it actually becomes relevant, and the addition of accessories that give abilities instead of stats made the combat feel refreshing and a lot more in-depth
5) fusion alarms made it a lot easier for me to make an endgame persona with a crazy amount of passives because fusing during a fusion alarm lets you transfer a skill onto every empty slot the new persona has

I played on hard, and although I did take my time (I went afk for like 30 minutes every now and then, looked up a word here and there and usually read through most text although my Japanese reading speed is kind of slow) and it took me 140 hours to beat the game with a full compendium (except for the NG+ one) and all trophies + having beat every dlc challenge battle to a score you get all rewards with

It was a great game that I am looking forward to playing again (prob in a few months, I had beat the og P5 like 3 or 4 times in total before, so I probably need to forget a few things before I can enjoy the game again)

I may have to skip this one. I just finished vanilla P5 and I'm not sure there are enough changes/new content to justify the purchase. Of course that's my fault for playing the game so late. I had Nier, and KH on my plate. Anyways, I hope the new players enjoy this amazing game! ^.^

There should have been an option to buy Royal upgrade for the main game, this isn't like back then when doing so wasn't possible.
