What is a Brand Strategist?

So what is a brand strategist, exactly? What do they do? What does brand strategy consist of? Lots of creatives are starting to sell strategy as a means to make more money. However, without actually changing the level of value you’re adding to your clients you shouldn’t really change the title on your business card. A strategists job is to provide clarity. Brand strategy is not just a means to make more money - it’s a completely different level of service that allows you to do the work your clients deserve.

Gven the opportunity to discover the needs vs the wants by providing insight and opportunities outside of their asks, a client develops new perspective. Strategists talk about return clients, I feel that hard to believe because if u do brand strategy for a company and it works, it will be hard for them to come back because you have given them all the tools. My question is how do you get return clients?
