Praying the rosary in Latin, while doing an hour of cardio a day, is the most powerful antidepressant that I have discovered.

I pray the Luminus mysteries at work simply because I work 12 hours. Every four hours, I pray a segment of the mysteries and complete all 20 mysteries at the end of the night.
On my days off at home, I've been praying the Liturgy of the Hours and sometimes a rosary. Despite feeling lethargic or lazy, I always try and atleast dedicate a 20-45 minute time for prayer in the middle of the night (I work nights) and many times live stream it.
I rarely get viewers but I like doing it in case someone is awake and lonely.

The Luminous Mysteries are a great thing to address the issues we face today. I always recommend more prayer not less. Most don't pray enough so go for the 20 mysteries for more sanctity.

I see the optional additions as mostly a personal choice however they have the potential for scrupulous individuals to see it as a competition and you can always do more.
If someone says that I am not praying a full rosary 📿 unless I include a 4th luminous mystery then I can turn around and say “whats stopping you from praying the full rosary twice a day? Or how about all 150 psalms?” It becomes a game of one upping arrogance. This is part of why standardized minimums work because they rid us of anxiety over “did I do enough?” Because you can always do more.

12:31 not forgetting that the Breviary or Liturgy of the Hours is the most important next to the Mass itself. If one chooses to pray that then indulgences will certainly apply.

I was told that praying one rosary a day (a full 150 aves after 3/4 days) would satisfy the requirement for the 15 promises. Also I am currently doing the first Saturday devotion and I have broken up each Saturday to correspond with a specific mystery thus I would meditate on all the joyful mysteries after I complete first Saturdays. I was told this satisfies the requirement of our Lady given to St. Lucia.

How do you pray for intentions on the Rosary? Do you simply say “I offer this Rosary for [insert intention(s)]” or even “I offer this decade for [insert intention(s)]” ?

I think the luminous mysteries are great if someone is praying more than 5 decades a day, but we should focus more on the original 3 sets of mysteries if we are praying 5 decades a day
