It is effective because it is not a tome, most of us have heavy daily duties. I have read almost a dozen books on the Rosary, and I still learned something new. Makes a great gift.

Many non Catholics insist on "bashing" Mary for various reasons as part of their disclaimer of the Catholic Church. They never take into account Jesus is fully God and also fully Man and "bashing" anyone's Mother is just not a good idea, especially the Mother of Jesus.

PLEASE--quote the Holy Bible that says God or Jesus ever said to pray to/use beads.
The Holy Bible CLEARLY SAYS:
“Every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”
On the other hand, our Savior reminded Satan: “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God’” (Matthew 4:4, quoting Deuteronomy 8:3, emphasis added). In light of Jesus’ forceful words, quoted from the Old Testament, Christians should search out the correct understanding of what Paul wrote.
Remember, Paul himself wrote to Timothy, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). And Jesus said “the Scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35). The Bible is inspired and does not contradict itself.

-Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
(John am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”). Christians are often criticized for claiming that Jesus is the only way to God.

IN ALL OF ETERNITY BEFORE GOD CREATED MAN.THERE WAS GOD, GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON SON, GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT. WHERE IS MARY?!NO MARY?! SO THAT MEANS MARY WAS BORN IN THE FLESH LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! THE BIBLE SAYS, THERE IS NO ONE WHO IS JUST NO NOT ONE. .FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. WE ALL NEED A SAVIOUR.. TO SAY MARY WAS BORN WITHOUT ORGINAL SIN IS CALLING GOD A LIER! MARY IS NOT WHAT CATHOLICISM TEACHES ABOUT HER. THEY'RE MAKING MARY EQUAL WITH GOD!! THERE IS NO MOTHER IN THE GODHEAD!!!

claim Mary was sinless. But, to pray to or worship to beads is IDOLATRY, under Jewish laws!!!! A SIN!!!! The punishment for idolatry is DEATH!!! So, with the claim by Catholics that Mary prayed to beads is a LIE!!!! As a Jewish woman, she WOULD NOT have prayed to beads!!! ABSOLUTELY 100% Jesus NEVER told her--nor taught Mary to do that.--So, under which law will Mary be judged: the Catholics claim--or the Jewish law???
