Knee Pain Types Explained

Bob and Brad discuss different types of knee pain.

Some of our astute followers have noticed me slurring my words. I am not drunk but working with Brad it would be justifiable. I had 6 infected cysts removed from my mouth (noncancerous) and I have residual scar tissue and numbness. I will try to do better. Thanks Bob.

Thanks so much for this video. I just developed a new knee pain a couple of days ago and now I know why and after doing some stretches it is already feeling much better. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Very timely, I’ve recently experienced knee pain that is totally different from what I’ve had in the past. Don’t know where it came from, but now I know what it is.

Loved this video and the fact that you drew lines and areas on your knee so we know what to look for in our knee pain. A big thank you. Julie

Last month I had a rather noticeable hard bump on the bottom outside corner of my left kneecap. It was a bit red. I could barely stand or sit from the pain. After a few days I had it examined by my primary doctor (HMO) who sent me for X-rays. At the same time she prescribed some antibiotics because of the redness. The X-rays indicated I had a free floating ossified structure in my knee. My doctor said a lot of older folks have them and are unaware until it happens to lodge itself into/obstruct a tendon, muscle or joint. So far the bump has gone down a bit, but not sure if it is worth a surgery. Do they do more damage cutting tendons, muscles, etc… just to get at it? Thanks for your videos? Both my sisters now watch them regularly.

My friend gets kneecap pain. We've learned that if we massage deep from BEHIND it, she has like microspasms there. Working those out gives her a ton of relief. We use just steady pressure with finger or a small ball or massage tool to get deep and just hold the pain spots til they ease.

Hy fellows! I found you couple of years ago. I have L5S1 hernia. I tried PT, low lumbar traction but it didn't worked. Your exercises relieve the pain, but the pain is still there. I am going to surgery very soon. I spent lots of years in a big pain. Toothbrushing, shaving and other bending activivities are horrors. Keep up the good work 👍💞

Great information from the most famous PT's on the internet! I sat here feeling my knee as you explained what's what, and suspect my issue is bursitis, as my rheumatologist mentioned on my last visit. Thank you very much!!!

You 2 are absolutely amazing, I've been watching you for a long time. My knee pain came on suddenly after the sprain in my rt foot healed after a fall. I'm finally seeing an Orthopedic doctor today, hope that its not bad!

I had Osgood Schlatter as a teen. It SUCKED.
Right now I have a soreness pain in my knee if I flex my hamstrings with resistance, for example, pushing my heel into the chair/couch/etc I'm sitting on.

My husband has chronic fat pad impingement. Do you recommend a particular type of brace that would help with it or is there anything else he can do.
