Can I use regular gas in my Volkswagen

Do your research and check with a vw mechanic. If the manual says premium recommended you should be able to use regular. If however it says premium required then you must use premium

I agree. I have an '11 Jetta SEL and it runs much better and smoother on premium. I had been using regular for about 6 months and decided to try premium. Also, I fill up about every 2 weeks and with premium I can go almost 3 under the same exact conditions.

I don’t know if all this information is correct. But I’m running a 1.8t AEB code motor at 11 psi with a mbc. I always run shell 93 v power. It doesn’t really bother me to pay the extra for the fuel because my car is a manual and a fw drive and gets extraordinary fuel mileage.

Bullshit. Run on regular with no loss of power or gas mileage. The computer in the car will adjust for it. Premium is such a scam.

I have a 2011 Tiguan and used nothing but regular since new never had an issue check your facts on RON values of gas the is no difference in power or performance only what the gas companies want you to believe !!!
