Naturally, premium will give you more horsepower and last longer than regular. I've done the math many many many times and in all the cars I have, it's basically the same cost to run regular or premium. I just use premium because when I wanna smoke someone, that premium gives me more horsepower. But I am a Honda guy and the Honda ECU's do calculate to give more power when premium is in; auto adjusts for octane level. Plus, it keeps the fuel system cleaner.

Lol. I'm a cheapskate about buying expensive premium gasoline, BUT, I'm going to try it.
My 2008 Dodge Caravan KNOCKS.
Of course, you can really hear it on deceleration at 25mph.

Everything, especially small engines, run better on Premium. Costco sells Premium gas without Ethanol for about the price of regular gas, no brainer.

I only use non ethanol for all 4 of my cars, 1996, 1996, 2003 and 2007

I still wonder if there is a carbon remover for the pistons to buy some more time? Premium goes for a premium price.

Of course it will run fine but the deposits from the dirty / not clean fuel an excessive amount of carbon build up will occur sooner hense eventually it won't run fine

Some engines don't run high enough rpms to burn the premium fuel so it gets unburned and wasted and can gum up in the way out of the engine

I would say use what is recommended from company Althaough most cars can run fine on regular gas

I only put premium in my motorcycle. Okay owners manual recommends regular, however the only ethanol free gas around here is premium. So I have to waste money. It’s such a small tank that it’s only like $2 more but still.

I bought a new vehicle, 2.5 four cylinder, have been using the ethanol free fuel, gives a little more performance.
