I bring this up when people talk about the Crusades and have no idea that Islam was in Europe 350 years before the first Crusade got started.

A slight change. Charles had a small kingdom but was able to rally other kingdoms for the battle. If the west had not come together they would have lost. A lesson for today as Muslim expansion is already "inside the wire".

Imagine if Charles Martel and Khalid lived during the same time. Their battle would have been a sight to behold.

"Spanish Muslim force" is an oxymoron.
The Muslims forces were levies from Arabia and North Africa, there were no Spanish natives in the muslim army, at least not yet, this was soon after the Invasion of Spain there hadnt been any integration whatsoever.
Also, the actual Spaniards had already defeated the Muslims at Covadonga and established the Kingdom of Asturias. So the Spaniards (meaning native Iberians, as modern Spain didnt exist for at least 1000 more years) were already there in the Peninsula fighting against the Moors, they were not the Moors.

And finally, by 732 there still wasnt a Caliphate of Cordoba yet. Most of Iberia was occupied by Ummayad Caliphate.
After the Caliphate was formed sure you can talk about the "Spanish Muslims" since the Caliphate of Cordoba was in Spain, and contemporary sources often used "Spanish" to designate he Muslim part, while using "Galician" to designate the Christian part.
But by 732 there was no such Caliphate in Iberia yet

Using C.E. as a time reference is idiotic. From what does it get its reference point? It’s still basically from Christ’s birth.

This video is only about 20% correct about the battle, and oversimplifies what actually took place. About the only thing it gets correct is the names of the two commanders.
