Great Battles of the Reconquista - Tours (Poitiers) 732

The year is 732. The Iberian Peninsula is dominated by the Umayyad Caliphate and is known as Al-Andalus. From there, the Caliph's men venture forth into France - conquering the south and raiding the north. A new governor of Al-Andalus, by the name of Abdul Rahman al-Ghafiqi, comes to power and leads a strong army on another massive raid. There are few that can oppose him, but between Poitiers and Tours, Charles Martel leads his well trained army and sets up a desperate defense.
