I loved how this turned out! these roasts are on the expensive side but lucky for us, they are easy to cook and hard to mess up on the sns grill. What you season with, what you braise with and how you serve is left completely up to you but this is a good guide on how to get started.

In one of the River Cree Casino's restaurant in Edmonton, i started this secret menu item with the Prime Rib Roast being grilled. The kitchen have a flamed grill and they were kind enough to do this favor for me. I order a medium rare steak and then have it grilled resulting in a near medium steak. That extra grilling changes the flavor profile of the Prime Rib as it sealed the juices&flavor especially with the fat when it's served. Even when I have it as a takeout order and reheat it the microwave the flavor is different while the regular non-grilled steak tastes bland. My family&friends that go there are also ordering it after seeing me request that everytime i go there. Some months later I noticed other ppl that are friends of my parents are now ordering it too. The waiter/waitress don't mention grilling the Prime Rib steak to the customers but those that request it has no issues grilling the steak when a customer asks for it on how well cooked their steak's going to be served.

Great video Sal. First time watching. I'm going to have to try grilling a rib roast one day. You ever try dry aging one? I've been dry aging for several years now. I have found that if I buy the cheapest cut which is select and dry age it that it tastes the same as the prime. Difference is that I pay $80 to $90 instead of $225 for prime. All I do is rinse the roast in a salt brine dry it off and wrap it in cheese cloth and place it in a rack over sea salt and pink Himalaya salt, after two weeks remove the cheese cloth and wrap it again with a clean cheese cloth until time to cook. I dry age mine for 6 to 8 weeks. Prices are better in November, I normally buy it in the first week of November.

Au is pronounced like oh, it’s French. Don’t worry I know you Americans have trouble with words that end with eu or au, it’s oh, not ew
