Another tip that might help you guys:
Sometimes you can't import the video because the filename has a special character in it, like emojis or any other weird ones.
Try renaming it to something more simple and it may work.

This method works! Was really frustrated since morning. Also, if you end up getting a video without audio (like me), you change the setting to the desired audio format using the setting icon near the format selection drop down.

Hmm, I keep getting a message that says "The output file already exists. If recording continues, the file will be overridden and its content will be lost." I've tried saving it to a different folder, confirming the overwrite, but nothing works.

If you're just lookig to import the audio from a video the solution that worked for me was converting the video as an mp3 (using VLC), and I was able to import it into Davinci Reslove.
