The Flim&TV version worked for me!

However, since I am on a PC without that default item installed and cannot install it (TLDR, its a company computer), you CAN use the "Photos" viewer with a .MP4 file! If you have a .MKV, change the file type to .MP4!

How to do so (on Windows, I'm sorry Mac users):
1) Open File Explorer
2) Go to "View" tab
3) Make sure the check box for "File name extensions" is checked. This will allow you to see and edit the file type
4) Right-click the file you wish to change.
5) Click "Rename"
6) Change the "MKV" at the end to "MP4". Make sure you did not accidentally delete the period/dot right before the "MKV" otherwise you will break the file.
7) Either click away or hit "Enter" on your keyboard.
8) Confirm you want to make the change
9) Follow the steps in the video but replace "Film & TV" with "Photos"

Just ran into this issue myself. Turns out my problem was that I had brackets () in my file name. Once I removed those, the file imported immediately. Hope that helps others also.
