Are your video files missing when you try to import them on your computer? Hopefully this helps to fix that issue! This works with a large combination of computers and cameras, but this issue typically happens with Mac computers, and Sony/Panasonic cameras with AVCHD videos. Let me know if this helps!

Yo dude, found the channel whilst researching the Canon R50, and then later experienced this exact problem whilst trying to retrieve some video files from my old Sony camera. Luck or coincidence, this was a massive help. Came in clutch my guy👊🏻

I was recently given a Sony Rx100 iii and have yet to learn some functions, such as photo and video transfer. It took me two hours, TWO HOURS, to figure out why I couldn't see the videos on the camera (honestly I was about to cry). Then I found this video of yours. You literally saved all my work <3 tysm

Wow, THANK YOU! This saved me. I had to do it in a slightly different way for my Sony RX100vii but I saved my precious videos. I cannot thank you enough. For anyone with this camera, I followed the same steps until getting to AVCHD - it didn't have my videos. They were in the M4ROOT folder. Hope this helps!!!

That's interesting. Need a video explaining that file structure, and the why and the where of it. But yes, really helpful 🙂
