ABOUT:
The First exists for the massive group of Americans whose voices have been ignored. The people who are passionate about American values, aren’t afraid to engage big ideas, and who care about where the country is headed. The people who are conservative in their views but aren’t beholden to any party’s talking points. The independent thinkers who rely on things like the facts, context, and perspective to inform their ideology. The people who, although they form the backbone of this country, have been cast aside by the politicians and the media.

The people whose beliefs and values are increasingly being cancelled. They are why we created The First. You are why we created The First.

We’re the home of free speech, free ideas, and free TV.

One can't help but admire a man that takes a bullet in the chest, and whilst he still bled, said "it takes more than that, to kill a Bull Moose, "
and proceeded to give a 90 minute speech before going to a hospital. Teddy was a sickly, nerdy, rich kid, but a romantic. He just decided to power through and become a badass. A self made man, who embodied the 'can do' American spirit, who personified the power and efficacious nature of free people, eager to work hard for what they want. His immediate response to being shot was to save his would be killer's life. Some in the audience shouted "kill him, " but TR was cool and said "don't hurt him." He even tried to help him by speaking with him, but to no avail. The man was as incapable of articulation, as he was at assassination.
