Everyone talks about how Teddy and Franklin were cousins, but neglect to know that Eleanor was the daughter of Teddy's brother, his brother was an alcoholic, Teddy practically raised her alongside his children. Teddy gave her away at her and Franklin's wedding

Most badass man to live. Keep in mind he was rock climbing when he heard that McKinley was shot, and during a campaign speech, he got shot as well. The bullet didn't injure him because his chest had so much muscle mass, and he finished the rest of his speech before seeking medical attention

I remember watching these videos in History last year. I miss the teacher, he doesn't work at my school anymore. 😭

This guy was what we would call a live wire. His successor, Taft, on the other hand, was the complete opposite - quiet, approachable and with a reputation for randomly falling asleep!

Most people loved him, but apparently Alton Parker, William Taft, Woodrow Wilson, John Schrank, Charles Fairbanks, and fourteen of the trust owners disliked this video!

Teddy wasn't America's 26th President. He was America's 1st Dad.

Perhaps a little too aggressive with his power but I can't really think of anything bad he did with it so I don't really mind.

Less we not forget my boy got shot during the middle of a speech, then continued his speech for like well over an hour before attempting to seek medical attention

He saw the funeral procession of Abraham Lincoln when he as a kid. A future president witnessing the funeral procession of another. He was 6 years old at the time. There’s even a picture of him and his brother Elliot (Eleanor’s father) at the window of their grandfather’s window seeing it.

Theodore Roosevelt was the first President elevated to office upon the incapacitation or death of a predecessor that won an election in his own right. Tyler Fillmore Johnson and Arthur all lost theirs.
