America needs another president like Theodore Roosevelt

Chuck Norris says prayers to Teddy Roosevelt, who in return gifted him with a portion of his power.

Teddy would be the best moderate candidate if he ran today. Conservatives would love him because of his military background, strong military policies, country living background and hobbies such as hunting. While Liberals would love him for his progressive conservationist policies and trust-busting, his artistic talent and city living background. Honestly I feel like he'd win the presidency if he ran today hes basically the everything man.

Ah, so ironic that a cute plush toy is named after one of the baddest mo-fos that ever lived.

Teddy was a true progressive in his day. He didn't take shit from anyone, and he fought for the people--not the government. A page could be torn out of his book in regards to both parties of today's politics. He was a true country-first, party-last man. The world is embarrassingly scarce of such men today.

Didn't he also establish national state parks?

After being shot and doing his speech anyways, X-rays later showed the bullet had lodged in his ample chest muscle.

Roosevelt started his speech with "Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot; but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose.” Badass

Theodore Roosevelt was not only a great president, but he was a heck of a guy. that trip that the narrator talked just a moment about, the one to South America, was astounding. get yourself a copy of the book or the audiobook that is entitled "The River of Doubt: Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey". the book is just incredible. If he wasn't already one of my very favorite people from history, after this book I would still be a super fan.

That part about him not getting good grades is inaccurate. He may not have been consistent at Harvard but received 3 academic honors from them in his respective fields. An exceptional accomplishment that shouldn't be ignored.

His emphasis on morals in education still stands in 'to do' list of civilization.

Oh my. Imagine if we had Roosevelt for WW1. There wouldn't have been a WW2, that's for sure.

Excellent tone/pace--you present in an entertaining way that is not silly like some other videos. The entertainment is not an end in itself, but done enough to serve the info. Thanks for doing this.

It was North Dakota NOT South that he had his two ranches (within 30 miles of each other), the Maltese Cross Ranch and Elkhorn Ranch.
