How to Fix Astro A50s - Headset not connecting to Base station

Big Props to my Friend Britt for Finding this. IM DUMB I say google play store its the MICROSOFT store ADDED Original Command Center Files Link Below

Download both Versions of the Command Station

Microsoft Store version and Astos Verson.

Update with Microsofts First, Once it seems to not update further closeout and open the Astros version, Start the update again until it completes.

Bootloader File here : ( Link Should be fixed )

Thank you dude the astro command center from the microsoft apps area (the Microsoft bag icon thing) works. I didn't need the other astro command center from astro website the Microsoft one updated both the headset and base station. Thanks again.

OMG TYSM YOUR THE ABSOLUTE BEST! My Astro A50 has been unable to function for the past 2 YEARS. I'm so glad I found you or I would've bought a new headset. Just FYI anyone else trying this. This did ALMOST all of it for me so MUCH appreciated. HOWEVER. Mine actually updated the Base Station from the Microsoft Store installed command center, and not the headset. Headset still was saying either nothing or 0.0 and would fail 100% of the time. I had to do the dang holding "Game & Dolby" reset fix on my headset and then command center could see it and I could fully update the firmware successfully, from the Microsoft Store installed command center again. Thanks again Cooliyo3000 you got the ball rolling for sure for me! Hope this helps anyone!

This worked for me after 3 hours of trying everything. You have to download the base station update from clicking software on their site and using that command center, then you need to do the headset update on the microsoft store version of command center. Worked!

Y’all are goated the issue really is with the Microsoft store version of the app, the older download I found on Reddit worked first try and everything is smooth again. Y’all just saved me $300 and a hole in the wall

For me I just needed the microsoft store app. But whenever I tried to update I would get stuck at 33%. I then hard reset my headphones by holding the "dolby" (discord icon looking thing) and on the right of the headphones the "game" button. Hold it until it resets. After I was able to do the update. After the update whenever I picked up my headphones all the lights on the base would disappear. Next I reset the base. If you look under the base you can find a small hole. Press it with a toothpick or something like that for about a minute then put your headphones on the base again and pick them up. For me this worked. Thanks to reading different comments and trying all the ideas I was able to figure it out. Hope this worked for someone else.

Thank you so much for this. I spent days trying to find a fix. Astro themselves got tired of trying options and told me to just send in for warranty… Works better than ever now. Goes to show you how little they know about their own product.

Everybody and their mom was saying to hold the buttons and reset, which I’m sure works for some, but none other than you have shown to look for the Play Store ACC before using the Astro site version. Microsoft Store (Not Google Play) Version of the ACC worked great, no clue why the other didn't. It updated the base and then the headset just fine. Thank you.

Alright to anyone this isn't working for. If it's failing to update at 33% or 50% from the microsoft store what you need to do is have your headset on the base station and hold both the Dolby button and the "game" button on the front of the right earmuff. This should hard reset the headset, and then you should be able to update it from there with no issues!

Mannn I tried resetting my headset and base station like 10 times a piece. Glad I found you vid. Deff worked but I didn’t have to go to the Astro site for the base update I just had 2 on the command center app.
