CHINA and RUSSIA vs USA and INDIA - Who Would Win? - Military / Army Comparison

It's a showdown that seemed impossible just a decade ago, but now is more probable than ever before. The US and India, the world's two largest democracies, vs Russia and China, authoritarian states hellbent on turning the clock back on the liberal-led world order. Who would win this hypothetical World War III. The US and India may seem an unlikely paring at first glance. Historically, India has been the leader of the unaligned movement, a small coalition of nations seeking to keep themselves out of the power struggles between the US and the Soviet Union. After the end of the Cold War and with the ascension of China to the world stage, India once more attempted to remain neutral- and quickly found that it couldn't afford to do so.

Why does this video dosen't mention that India's historical relations with russia are due to USA supporting military dictatorship in Pakistan and genocide in Bangladesh .... Secondly India has the best mountain fighting force in the world and the most experience in mountain wars as it captured Siachen glacier( the highest battlefield in the world ) from Pakistans illegal control ... Lastly against china we all know the reality of the equipment they have and another mistake in the video India has already inducted its second aircraft carrier and operates both and none is under construction now...

India won't go against Russia. Russia is an all-weather ally of India.
Given the US' history of going against India, I doubt India would fight alongside the US. The more likely scenario is US fighting China and Russia while India remains neutral, providing support to both parties.

The fact that India will go against Russia is comical in itself. Given the USA and it's history of throwing allies under the bus. It's more likely to be Russia and China vs USA with India watching from the side and not getting involved.

Just 1 little correction. I think India has 2 aircraft carriers.
1. INS Vikrant.
2. INS Vikramaditya.
3rd is under construction.

India is tilted towards Russia, there is no doubt about that, but if Russia choose to fight along side China, India sure will back US.

No, India is not firmly aligned with the Western or US blocs. India maintains a pragmatic relationship with the West primarily for economic benefits and as a precautionary measure against potential future conflicts with China. In practice, India exhibits a closer affinity toward Russia, which is evident in their extensive use of Russian weaponry, their non-condemnation of Russia's actions in Ukraine, and their active participation in BRICS, a group primarily composed of nations with differing perspectives on the West and America, including China, Iran, and Russia. Truth be told, India, like other BRICS nations, represents an alternative perspective or vision often referred to as the 'global south' order. Consequently, it is increasingly apparent that the West may need to reevaluate the composition of groups like the G7 or G20 to establish a new framework that excludes BRICS nations, including India.

Regarding India's alignment in the event of conflict, it is important to note that India would likely only join the US or the West against Russia or China if they themselves were under threat or invasion, at which point they would seek assistance from the US and the West.

Moreover, it's essential to recognize that the US, with its significant military capabilities and financial resources, is not dependent on India to win a war against Russia and China. Since 1993, the US has adopted a two-theatre war model as part of its readiness strategy, allowing it to simultaneously engage in a large-scale offensive conflict against the two nearest major military powers. Additionally, the US allocates a substantial budget to national defense, exceeding the combined defense expenditures of China, Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Germany, France, South Korea, Japan, and Ukraine. This doesn't even take into account the support and alliances within NATO and the potential involvement of nations like Ukraine, which might be eager to participate if given the opportunity to seek retribution.

Ohk so as an Indian who studies geopolitics as well, I think I have a reply to the people saying that india will not support the USA in this case let me explain it to you. So we Indians respect Russia a lot, when I say a lot I mean some people also call Russians brothers and stuff, but the main reason for that is primarily when Soviet Union helped india in 1971 and defended india from USA and UK. But now the things have changes quite a bit. We Indians hate china till our last breath and now suddenly seeing Russia supporting china on multiple occasions, some Indians are having trust issues, while many Indians have become pro USA after seeing the increasing cooperation with USA in defence sector and manufacturing sector. So if you see the change in perception we have went from totally pro Russia to neutral to now slightly leaning towards USA. And I have seen the change on a ground level within the people and not only the government. So in the near future I can see india becoming pro west. I know many Indians will spam me pro Russia comments but you need to understand I am just writing down my view

Instead of this video being a video of comparison of two different alliances, felt more like a video “Why china and Russia are not as effective as they seem”

As a patriotic American, I say that Russia and China would win by default. The USA and India have absolutely zero chances against Russia and China. India is in fact heavily allied to Russia, so realistically, it's more like Russia, China, and India vs. only the USA, so the video premises are incorrect. Now if you want to do big alliances, then BRICKS vs. NATO would make sense as well. I lived in America for most of my entire life, and I can safely say that we as Americans have way too many polarizations and divisions here that I doubt the US can win this war and would be asinine to assume so.

I've been saying this for over 10 years. India is the biggest wildcard in WWIII.

One side may win and the other losses. But what would really be tragic is that this war just might ruin the world. Something that really worries me.
