The US would be highly unlikely to be fighting alone though, *at least* the UK and Japan would be involved in a war with China and the whole of NATO would be involved in any war with Russia. These are highly capable allies, making the question somewhat moot.

Peter Zeihan is the only voice out there at the moment that manages to reduce the level of fear that the MSM actually increases which I don't think is helpful to anyone. Zeihan talks sense and backs it up with logic. Love this guy.

Peter is absolutely correct. The US is emptying climate controlled storage facilities with high rent because they are located near transportation hubs, and they require security. They have to pay contractors to transport expired weapons to approved destruction facilities, and pay for the destruction. It actually saves the taxpayers money shipping it to Ukraine and being done with it.

They've been involved in skirmishes here-and-there along China's borders, but never an all-out war. It remains to be seen how well they would do in a strictly land-based conflict (with India would be the most likely land conflict) or maritime (Taiwan).
