Ignores the odds of South Korea, Japan, and ANZAC coming to the aid of NATO. NK would be extremely reluctant to move artillery and armor since they are a huge reason their lines wouldn't collapse within hours in the event of an attack by South Korea. It's also conceivable Japan would join in. Between ANZAC, South Korea, and Japan, there's a strong possibility Russia and China would need to commit a substantial percent of their forces for home defense. Also ignores the fact that a nuclear weapon detonated above the US would almost certainly invite a response in kind. China and Russia would have their systems knocked out as well.

It’s nice to see the only way you could make this kind of scenario is literally stacking the deck against NATO as much as possible.

A Sino-russian alliance is impossible because both parties are deeply fearful of being the junior partner in any relationship.

That "EMP attack" wouldn't impact our troops already overseas or our nuclear subs which would assume that the United States was attacked by a nuclear attack and respond accordingly.

So they just wanted to do a limited assault on our power grid and end up getting glassed by a bunch of furious sailors who are assuming everyone they ever loved is dead. The EMP attack is a bad idea.

During the anti war movement in WW2, the us was unofficially involved while saying they didn’t want to get involved. That’s why Japan attacked us. We cut off their oil they needed to win. Our government always says one thing but does the other.

If USSR existed today and saw what Russia has become, they would have felt shame and embarrassed.

This scenario vastly underestimates the power of Poland. If this alliance doesn't attack before the next ten years and Poland is able to buy all the hardware that it plans to buy, Poland would stop the alliance in its tracks. This would buy time for the rest of NATO to get it together and that's not even taking into account Finland's ability to greatly bleed out any Russian or Chinese troops that came to its borders.

Remember when people thought Russia was a threat a decade ago, time sure flies and changes.

NATO militaries are powerful because they use the same equipement and train the same effective doctrine of war. Dictorships rarely ever can have modern tactics because it serves the dictator to concentrate power. You end up with top-down command structures and that has been ineffective since WWII. These three militaries (NK, China, Russia) can't fight effectively alone of in a join arms manner. They would be in a slaughterfest. Low moral at best. China is the most succeptible nation in the world to sanctions. 6 months and they'd be on their knees due to blockads by a handful of US/NATO submarines with not much they can do about it.

Ayyy this was my request! Thanks!

Can u do a video about the 1938 yellow river flood and the battle for Wuhan? It seems super relevant to todays Ukraine and is one of the most deadly days / battles in history of warfare and there are exactly 0 decent videos about the topic on YouTube.

The US is sending roughly 30-40% of its disposable yearly inventory to Ukraine right now. Key term is disposable, the munitions currently being used would be disposed of one way or the other anyway. Better to use it in my opinion.

The US also has allies outside of NATO

I don’t think Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Australia would stay out of the fight and take on China.

The US electrical grid after decades of warnings is still in such a bad state that you don't need any EMP weapons, just a dozen or so secret sleeper agents that shut down a power plant or two and increase power demand in the same region, whilst also blowing up some powerlines would easily repeat black-out scenario's from not too long ago.

I've always been in the school of thought that it might have kind of been a godsend that Pearl harbor happened... Roosevelt almost couldn't get the ppl on board with lend lease, nevermind boots on ground

Well yeah, but remember the US and NATO would also be supported by ANZAC, Japan, South Korea, The Philippines, Israel and to an extent India.

The map at 0:50 seems to be in a wrong aspect ratio, and Kaliningrad is missing.
