CHEAP AND EASY Carp Fishing! - How to Catch CARP

We head to Walmart to buy some cheap fishing bait and tackle to try to catch some big carp! I did not expect for this to happen.. You don't need to spend a lot of money to go carp fishing! When the water gets cold and fish aren't biting, this can be an extremely effective way to get a bite!

Another BANGER!! the biggest carp I caught was about 10-12 pounds at a local pond, the whole time I was catching it there were Karens telling me to stop it. LOL

A few minutes ago i caught a 7-8lb carp i rlly have no clue what type either a grass carp or common carp and this thing was huge compared to me (im 4'11 and not in my teens yet) and i used a 14 dollar pocket rod and it did me good i love it and carp LOVE bread too carp are probably my favorite type of fish so im pretty happy and no not a single soul helped me im pretty impressed with myself

I'm from the UK u should try hair rigs with fake sweetcorn your gonna need a baiting needle or bend put a barbed hook and then if u don't have bait stops use a bit af grass to put in the loop of the hair to stop the sweet corn from falling off

That's why I like using a multi-tool that has pliers in them. Since its so much easier to use.

Tip: when You Dont have a baitrunner grab the line with your finger and set
The hook asap and then tighten the drag . My biggest carp was 21 pounds. Sorry for bad english

If you ever want to save yourself the trouble of cutting your line for the barrel swivel, just add a rubber slide-on bobber stop after your weight. Not only do you take a possible weak-link out of your line, you can adjust the distance of your hook from your weight.

I actually use small dropshot hooks and split shots to fish for carp. With oatmeal. Split shots to that I don’t need to tie any leaders and oatmeal so it doesn’t come off so easily like corn

You called it and made it look easy! Do a catch and cook carp. There are ways to fillet and prepare it that makes it taste pretty good.

I got some tips for u when carpin… 1 try and use a hair rig there very easy for the carp and buy acuall carp hooks the ones ur using can affect the carp pretty bad 2 chum a little… chumming brings in the biggest carp in your place me and all my friends specifically target carp and we have caught many 20s 30s and 40s

I wouldn't use lighter rods or spinning rods for carp. They are really strong fish, and that's why they are so popular in Europe. Although i dont know why it is considered trash fish in the USA. My biggest is 30lbs (~13.5kg)
