Wow, fishing for carp here in Australia is very different just a normal 5 or 6 foot rod with 2 hooks with worms and a sinker

Thank u Carl. Thank u. I've been fishing for a year, just simple float, feeder etc for carp. But never really understood how to set up a proper carp system like I see all the time on the banks. I’ve been a course fisher for as long as I can remember and never got into carping, luckily I just won a competition where I won a full carping set up so now is my chance to get into it. I just know these videos will be invaluable to me as I really don’t know the first thing about carping, this video is a great start as everything is perfectly explained here for my first rig set up.
