Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve. It consists of nine classes, Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper, and Spy, and two teams, Red and Blu. The teams try to take the others' objective, such as an intelligence brief case, or a control point.

Basically what happened is Valve implemented a check for multiple TF2 clients running on the same computer that drastically reduces the amount of bots, they still exist but it will depend on your region how many there will be, and there should be hundreds of times less than there were about a year ago.

The game still has massive issues, there are cracks in the votekick system that bots can exploit to make an 11 yes 1 no vote fail, there are bugs they can use to crash servers, but it's still better than it was, and the volume of bots has gone down massively.

Bless that one developer for their heroism. They are a god among the TF2 community, and will be honored by all of us playing the game.

I just went back to TF2 the other day after literal years of inactivity. It’s so good to play a literal childhood game of mine and see it be just as it always was without the bots.

no they dont, today and yesterday was the hardest bot epidemic i ever seen in 4 years, the game is unplayable

In the Singaporean and Tokyo servers, OMEGATRONIC bots are still active and have recently been taking over rooms, with the latter being more unstable connection-wise than the former.

Well, I've been trying to play tf2 for two days, but all the servers are full of sniper bots
And this is kinda scary, it gets worse than before

I see 1 or 2 every few matches but yes its gotten way better

Imagine being the contractor
On one hand, the community of the project you're working on call you a contractor, janitor or even a potted plant
One the other hand, they use that as a satirical way of complimenting your efforts
... And then there's that third hand that only has you to point at for what you are having to deal with regarding said project

What they did is they ported tf2 to the 64 bit version which breaks the hook bots use to do bot things.
Omegatronic sayd that hed take about 2-3 months to fix the hook, so bots may not be gone forever

(And they hired about 10 devs for tf2 and a game director, valve is returning)
