I’ve started following you since i just turned 23. And to anyone reading this comment. He’s right!! I’ve been grinding for about two months now. And if you put the work in now it pays off. I traded going out for going to the gym. I gave up the temporary fun for long nights in front of my laptop. I left fancy dinners for cheap dinners at home. It wont sound great but the benefits will come back for you.

Thanks for this. I'm a little over 40 and can promise there will be more than one period of down. Imagine life as peaks and valleys. Often the valleys get even harder as we age, because they are multi-layered. So important to prepare when young for good health, including mental health, so those valleys can be tackled when older. And NEVER claim victory over something like sobriety, etc. The universe could have a surprise in store if you claim victory. Peaks and valleys.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my YouTube channel 2 months ago about self development. Now I have 196 subs and almost 82 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Your honesty and vulnerability is what makes this video accessible and powerful, which ultimately makes this piece inspirational.
You are a breath of fresh a air.
Thank you 🙏

I needed to hear this. One year of pure focus. I started getting up everyday at 5 to hit the gym and honestly, as much as I hate it, it’s the only thing in life that feels to be going “right” because it has structure. No matter what happens, I know how my day will start. Thank you for your worlds Carlos ❤️

Crazy how quick we are to be willing to live with ourselves as liars rather than live with ourselves as failures. It's okay to fail at one thing and work on building another thing more in line with the path – one step at a time like you say! Thanks for sharing. Needed to hear this big time.

What is embarrassing to me is trying to have a whole relationship (boyfriend or girlfriend) when you are sleeping on the couch 🛋️… I did that before and when I look back on it I do not wonder why my life was screwed my priorities were fucked up. I admire you king 👑

God knows I needed to watch this today. I made notes:

-Chris is an amazing human being for doing that for you. Keep him close.
-I have a routine - the same that you talk about but its not helping my cause
-I am starting to focus on creating content with my 9 to 5
-I am ready to be a loser in the short run to get lightyears ahead

This was so on time. Today has shown me so many confirmation that I’m on the right track and it’s only the morning, I’ve been working on my business heavy for the past couple days and I see my friends on boats during the weekend and instead of having fomo I continue to stay focused. In this generation people always say “Spend the money, you’ll make it back” or “Treat yourself” when in reality no one can really afford anything they are doing, it’s a trap and that’s how most people stay broke. Thank you for being motivational, you never know who really need it.

I'd like to let you know that your content is inspiring and this message you just gave is exactly what I needed to hear. I've been struggling with addiction for years and this past year was the final straw. I lost my job and I hit a true rock bottom. I've tried to change my life countless times but never succeeded. I had to fail to understand exactly what I needed to let go and I'm now 3 months sober and in the best mindset I've ever been in.

I needed to hear this. I am a 1st year uni student and suddenly I feel disconnected from my friends because they embrace the #YOLO lifestyle and at times I do feel like a loser but I am gonna work towards my dreams and not give into instant gratification.
Much love bro !

This isn’t just inspiration but it’s actually a reality check for myself. I’ve learned that structure is one of the essential keys to obtaining your goals. Having a vision is great, but knowing the “steps” is the key. It’s one day at a time as you said bro. Thank you for this! 💪🏾

Thank You Bro🔥 I love this shit. Im going through some of the same things. Boutta graduate with no real direction, no place of my own, working a serving job I lied on the paperwork about. Bad work environment. Love the motivation bro, should be a mentor

this was more than helpful. being humbled in such a way is confounding because while in the process i ask "why me?" but i also think that discipline is a byproduct of love. being humbled in such a way seems like a way of receiving discipline. the feeling is a catalyst toward our goals.
im feeling inspired.

Damn I really needed to hear this I’m in that dark place now but I’ve started knocking down small goals to help me get to where I want to be in life

Definitely a inspiration been following your instagram for a while. I’m 22 I dropped out of college with a year of school left to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer. I’ve been building my clothing brand Street War based on human history and culture for a couple years now. I realized early on that I don’t have the same goals as my friends who are now out of college working there corporate career jobs so of course my route to success would be different. My goal is to build my own company create generational wealth with my own two hands. I’ve worked a million different jobs from moving companies, to serving, to landscaping, detailing cars, gym monitors, to pick up trash, etc. At every job I’ve noticed that I hate working for people the idea of making other people rich while I do the hard work is sickening. Like you said it’s okay to take a step back from the parties to focus up on your purpose. This year I’m committed to working 6 to 7 days a week running beach chairs to fund my dreams. Crazy thing is with 8 months of consistency I will have the resources to blow my brand up. It’s been a hard fought battle and it’s not over yet but I know in the end it’ll all pay off.

I felt the same way as you bro I walked into a job looking at everybody so miserable even the managers and after that I knew I had to change! I knew I needed change I was going to college but I hated it. So I decided to take a risk and drop out quit my job and start my own online brand! Stopped hanging out with friends that are no longer benefiting me, started prioritizing my time, stopped partying, started smoking a lil more weed lol! But now We good and we are gradually getting better. Love the journey! I live close to edgewater and I tend to walk around there to get motivated by the expensive apartment complexes and the view! Would love to meet someday!
