I believe what you meant to say Antonio was to buy a homage watch. A fake Rolex is an attempt at an exact copy that fraudulently uses the Rolex name. Your example is the Loreo dive watch which says Loreo on the watch face making it a homage watch.

Buying a fake watch is never a good idea. Even in the £100 price range you mentioned, there are plenty of good homage watches, as well as reputable watches in many other styles from brands such as Seiko, Orient and Citizen.

8:21 Agree! I met a lady yesterday at Goodwill. She was buying her kids winter clothes (sweaters, coats, pants) for the upcoming school year. In 3 months, the kids will need the winter clothes to wear to school. Better to get them now when the clothes are marked down and when you actually get to choose what you want rather than pick through what is left over ❤

Great video, my only gripe is the fake Rolexes. Why support an illegal operation when you could purchase a homage from a cheaper brand? I'd rather spend my money on honest watches rather than counterfeit ones

Excellent advice. Here’s how I operate with my money.

1) I pay myself first. I sock away at least 10% in investments (usually more).

2) I give myself a weekly allowance which goes toward transportation, food, entertainment, and other. I can’t go outside of that.

3) I work full time but also do freelance work as a designer (which I can do from home) which gives me an additional $500-700 a month.

4) when I know I want to save up for something, I do it. I avoid debt like the plague and buy things in cash. Delay gratification.

5) I embrace minimalism. I don’t need things — I use what I have and find more value in them along with more value in time and experiences. (Watching episodes of Hoarders will help keep you from going in that direction too).

6) I spend more on things that will last me a long time. I recently purchased a Barbour Ashby jacket (which is today’s sponsor). This jacket will last me a lifetime. I also got the snap hood to make if more versatile.

7) I use the app Qapital to create accounts and ensure I am sticking with my budget.

8) I read financial books and journal what I learn along with my goals.

9) I journal ideas on how I can save more (how to increase income, plans to work closer to home so I don’t spend more on transportation, research cheaper phone plans, etc).

10) I pack my meals. I avoid eating out except for certain times.

I’m in no debt, my wealth is continuing to increase, and I I don’t worry about what others think because the me tomorrow will thank the me today.

Hello Antonio, always happy to hear your message. I have shopped at thrift/ consignment stores for over 40 years, more of my wardrobe than not ( shoes included 😊) are purchased from them. All extremely high quality and classic made. Where else would you be able to get an almost 400$ pair of brand new in the box, all leather boots for less than 25$.

I would add that women really check out how we interact with others, especially those from a different social strata. "How we treat the help" is a deal breaker for many. Gracious persistence/respect is right up there with confidence and integrity for a real "10" man. Topshelf only!

There are plenty of very cool inexpensive watches, both original design and homage. .Why would you suggest the purchase of a counterfeit? To me the display of phony gear suggest a phony personality.. Would you advocate the purchase of a fake if it were your product?

Very thorough and informative video! I will invest more on dress shoes because of the quality as you pointed out and the fact that you can wear them for years to come. Based on budget, you need to pick your battles on what to really spend on and what to go budget friendly.

I enjoyed this video, however, I don't think it is ever okay to buy a fake. I say either save the money for the real thing or buy a good watch for the hundred dollars, like a Seiko 5 for instance.

I have done this before. I am a Full Time Reseller - Retail Arbitrage . Found clearance clothes at Bells Outlet and shoes. Ask for manager. Make Relationships . As the managers can give their discounts if they want.
