Its not an inherently bassy microphone. Infact its got a pretty hard bass roll off even for a dynamic. Id say something like the sm58 or sev7 will be a better bang for buck at 100$

HOWEVER something that NO ONE talks about with microphones, ESPECIALLY if youre doing any facecam/talking head video, is how the microphone looks. I hate how often people attempt to disregard this when reviewing a mic, its important to make your shot look good, and having a good looking microphone contributes to that. So it is ABSOLUTELY an important factor to consider. And for that, 100 percent this is a great pick.

Huge plosives though. You can't speak directly into the pickup. Better to position it more to the side of your mouth, so the plosives bypass it instead of hitting it directly.
