you should post your settings and show unprocessed vs processed and show how you remove background noise! would really appreciate it

How do people get the audio so clean? When I plug mine into the rodecaster and set it to the 50db gain they recommend, it’s a noise monster. And it’s not even background noise, it’s just the mic noise

If I’m going straight into xlr is there a benefit to getting the podmic usb over the OG?

The only issue I see with the normal PodMic is that buying even a cheaper interface will bring to cost up to very near the USB version. Also Rode started selling the pop filter for 25 eur.

I love the RODE Podmics - I have been using the original PodMics for years, and recently I picked up the USB version. Although I haven't had the chance to use it via usb directly to my computer. But I wanted to be able to use the PodMic without the need of my Rodcaster Pro 2. Thanks for the great video!

I need an XLR mic that will be good in a room with a small echo. Would the basic podmic XLR work in your opinion? Do I need something with a pop filter?

Hey, the Pro-Prawn I hope you're well. Can you please inform me as to what light setup you use/have? Is there a reason you chose that specific softbox behind you? Thank you in advance.

Hi, can the USB one be used with the regular PSA1 arm?

Does that pop filter fit the original podmic?

If so, do you have a link?

Should've used the USB version without the XLR cable, to truly test the difference.
