Absolutely horrible reporting. What were the actions of the subject who was shot? Where were his hands? Where did his hands go? I'm sure they have the unblurred version and chose not to report what the subject was doing. They clearly looks like he's reaching for something on his person.

He ran to avoid being hassled, not because he was a convicted felon who, by law, wasn't supposed to possess a firearm and ran because he didn't want to go to jail for possessing the firearm he wasn't suppose to have.
The Christmas photos were a nice tuch as to what an upstanding individual he was .
