Everyday these officers have to make decisions in a split second to see who goes home, the officer or the bad guy. I hate that people have to keep loosing their lives over stupid decisions.

Out at midnight with a gun? I’m sure some people are going to say this guy was a valuable member to the community. As a Hispanic, hard working man, taxpayer citizen, I believe that this video is not about police brutality but rather a video of police fighting crime.

In my humble opinion, the root of all these issues is not the split-second decision an officer makes, or whether the criminal is facing them or not, it's that we have a huge problem with young people committing serious crimes and violence. The police cannot fix that. Until that is addressed by the families raising these children, there will not be resolution. Raise your children to have a simple respect for their fellow-man, you'll never have to scrutinize videos or read autopsy reports.

Sure looks like he is turning to shoot to me... imagine being a position where you have a split second to decide what to do? What does a 22 year old young man have a gun for anyway? Self protection? Why is he running from the cops? Good Samaritan? I've been on the streets... that young man had some poor direction... he had been running a long time.. the argument that the cop just told him to drop the gun is silly... he had dropped it, when he fell... and chose to pick it back up. That $200 pistol was worth more than his life... we see which one he chose. #Accountability #ThanksLeBron
