Why Im Getting Baptized AGAIN!

I have been saved a while, why am I just now getting baptized? Or was I already? Watch this an hear my heart on what I've been struggling with and what I finally figured out.

I never grew up in the church. I’m 23 years old and I got baptized early this year. I struggled with sin before and after my baptism. I’m so wanting to get baptized again because I don’t think I did it the first time for myself or God, more of to be apart of something. Idk what to do, I’ve been told baptism isn’t a revolving door and it’s only done once so I’m conflicted between my heart and what’s understood in the church.

that is definitely something that has been on my heart for so long now. I got Baptized at 16 but there was really no true repentance and I dont think it genuinely came from my heart. Now I feel like these past 4 years I have truly been repenting of my wrongdoings, but this has always been a doubt in the back of my mind.

Hi all. I was baptised as a baby, but am about to be Baptised, through my choice, belief and faith, at the tender age of 69. It’s never too late to receive the Holy Spirit and come to faith. Loved your video and I so wish that I hadn’t drifted and searched for quite so many years; but I guess that your heart has to be right, and sometimes have to be in the right place with God.

I literally just got rebaptized today.. i was 9 when i first got dipped. And it had been weighing heavy on my heart, and i needed it. So i totally understand what you were saying, what you are going through!! Love ya!

Exactly my sista I grew up a Christian but I strayed at 18 I was lost for 28 years at the start of 2016 I started getting sick, heart problems, lost my job fell in deep depression that's when I opened a door through sin I was medicating with drugs, alcohol i had lust watching pornography one night I saw two images walk up to my back door I invited them in well you can see where I was in darkness after that incident things started happening. I started seeing shadows move, seeing blurry images, hearing voices, nightmares every night, heartburn everyday I couldn't eat anything, demonically oppressed I was stuck in my room for a year and three months a little over a year and seven months ago Jesus showed me hell the spiritual realm that place is so severe.
Jesus showed me what I invited in demons are real, hell is real at the end of my vision I was mumbling finally I yelled out Jesus help me and he saved me that second that's because I ignored Jesus for years didn't want anything to do with being him I seen him he is real now I know the truth he changed my heart stay on fire for the Lord take care sista God is good

I’m getting re-baptized tomorrow. When I was 7 I was, as you would put it “dunked” and I’ve felt recently so convicted to get baptized. Thank you for this great video, I wasn’t sure that I’d be able to find someone that went through the same thing as I did.

I just got baptized this past Sunday and before that I had a heart of stone toward EVERYTHING in life and EVERYONE in it. My social anxiety made it EXTREMELY difficult for me to go through with it. I was awake worrying about acting like an idiot in front of the pastor or embarrassing myself till about 3AM the night before. The day of, I was super nervous and irritated about being nervous. After I got baptized I was so relieved and happy. I feel like I have a real heart now.

Congrats I got baptized last December. I'm weary about kids being baptized because young kids can't fully grasp the concept like really have that personal relationship with God without other people's influences. My baptism was pretty quick didn't have to give a testimony or anything. Best day of my life though :).

My pastor, the moment I knew 2 keep my baby, The pastor preached about a young lady that was thinking about having an abortion.But she read the book of Romans& she kept her baby, named him Roman.... I was baptized as a baby, but this year came to know Christ and accepted Him into my heart, now I am just not sure what to do as far as if I need to be baptized again? My home church is one on a military base that I go to when I’m home with my parents but it doesn’t really do baptisms very often or by immersion, and I don’t have a church I would get baptized at at college, and I don’t want to get baptized at some random church without my parents or people I know there either. Any advice on what I should do?

I’m going to get baptized tomorrow for the 2nd time & my friend was telling me it's blasphemy I'm so confused about what to do the first time I got baptized I haven't known Christ the way I know him now & I'm learning so much about him more I just need your reply to conform me 😔

In your case I do agree theologically that if you have been baptized as a non believer you should get baptized again. There are some churches out there that will baptize multiple times because of back sliding, I totally disagree with that. You have a JOY about you!!! God bless you and pray the Lord will continue to use you for his glory.
