look, the catholic church baptize when a child is one month old. I think they don't understand the scriptures. Pray for me if I'm wrong. But anyway, the Bible says to be baptized when you believe:Mark 16:16 my question to you is how can a one month old baby believe? and the bible also says that you must be born again john 3:3. As I understand Jesus meant that you must repent of your sins, and if you believe first, that Jesus died for your sins, and on the third day he rose from the dead. only then will you be baptized. then old you is buried in the water, and a new you is born. spiritual huh! that's how I understand it.

Some baptisms are invalid format so its needs to verify.

Unless the baptism wasn’t done in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit, then no. There are some Protestants churches that don’t baptize in the name of the Trinity, which makes there baptism invalid.

For people who don’t know, if you are not baptized in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit. You are not baptized, Jesus says in Matthew 28:19 to baptize that way. For anyone looking to become Catholic, and you were originally baptized in a different denomination. There are also others who have been validly baptized in different Christian denominations that are accepted in the Catholic Church by making a profession of faith at a mass to be formally received in the Church. After this followed immediately by confirmation and the Eucharist.

Protestants who have been baptized in the Catholic Church do not need it, but those who were born into a Protestant family do. Protestants returning to the Catholic Church only need confession.

That is scary that the catholic church baptizes unbelievers and when that person comes to have an actual faith won't baptize them as we are told to do in scripture!

So this is what Vatican 2 teaches. Vatican one did not recognize any other Christianity that was out of communion. The first Vatican council actually thought there was no salvation outside of rome.
