Review: 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV - The Best EV Value in America

I review the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV and find that there's a lot to like about Chevy's most affordable EV. It's a combination of (mostly) good tech, top-notch range, features that competitors don't offer, and solid driving dynamics all wrapped up in an attractive and surprisingly spacious package. When you add in the low price tag, it becomes the best EV value in America in my opinion and one that's definitely worth considering. What do you think about the Equinox EV? With this in line up, I believe strongly that Chevy has found it's own "Rav4 Prime." They must of have really done their homework with that Chevy Bolt.

We just test drove one of the RS versions and notice some engine noise that was quite annoying from the front motor in an all-wheel-drive I agree with you on the tires the ride was rougher with a 21-inch

GM said a few years ago starting price 34 k for basic trim. But GM mentioned later on when full-scale production of Equinox pricing for basic trim can be up from prediction.

Anyone understand the subscriptions that come with the car for the infotainment. I think you get maps for 8 years but Wi-Fi for only 6 months. If you want to use the apps on the system will you need to use your phone as a hotspot? If so I wonder how well that would work on a convenience level. Or do you have a fully functioning system for 8 years where you can use the apps kind of like you could use CarPlay? I’ve been on the Chevy website and I can’t find any real information.

I don't mind the lack of Apple Carplay, just as long as you have Google Maps and Waze built in and the ability to connect your phone so you can still play music and podcasts through the infotainment system. And unlike the really unfortunate Blazer EV, it appears GM has properly sorted out the Equinox EV.

Man a lot of the EV SUVs are coming down in price and offering a solid package, too. Really makes you wonder what the value proposition is for a Model Y anymore.

Slight correction: at 22:10 you said that only Super Cruise and Ford's BlueCruise let you go hands free, but as I understand it that is no longer true, as Tesla has (finally) re-enabled hands free driving after going away for several years.

Does it have adaptive cruise standard Matt. Never mind saw the vid. Good review. I got a$5k credit from a Z06 adding the tax rebate gets it cheap.
