We didn't need more power, what people need is more affordability all arround( purchase price, repair costs, insurance, resale value).

Hello! The Google system installed really is simple, and most of all, allows for automatic pre-conditioning for DC fast charging when you enter in your destination…so no need to think about it, the car is ready when you get to your charger…as well, there is the automatic heated seats+wheel in the morning…and wow, are they hot! (They are also fully automatic = they shut off once you are warm!). An finally, there is a heat pump for this colder morning - we have been using it in the last week, with lower weather here in Quebec, and with pre-conditioning in the morning, the car is toasty comfy in the morning hours! We are impressed! (And go with the white seats - it lights up the inside!)

Great to hear that GM has long range EV which is needed in Canada, not a bad priced EV vehicle. Would like an update in a year to see if GM has a light headliner and ditch those door handles. Great review you two .

Great videos. I especially like the slight look of fear from Zack whenever Andrea tests the power in vehicles 😂

Aside from those silly door handles I like the design of this model. I also like a "tight" interior so the low, dark headliner is not an issue for me. Nice!

I own a USA based 2025 Equinox LT EV AWD with the heated front seats, heated stirring wheel, power front driver seat option package. $41, 000 minus the Federal incentive of $7500, minus the Colorado incentive of $5000 minus $3000 more of GM rebates for owning a non GM vehicle, being a teacher etc, and I paid $25500 for this awesome EV. Just like Andrea and Zack said in their understated way, the Equinox EV is easily worth the price I paid for it. If you are in the USA, get one before January 20th 2025 before the Federal incentive possibly goes away and a 25% tariff gets added since the Equinox EVs are made jointly in the US and Mexico. Equinox EVs have an 8 year, no questions asked warranty on the battery system in the USA on top of the bumper to bumper 36, 000 mile warranty.

Our GMC dealer on the Sunshine Coast has sold a ton of these, we have more EVs per capita than any other population and Sunshine GMC leads with more Volts, Bolts and now Blazers and Equinoxes, everyone I have talked to are very happy with their Chevy or GMC EV.

More range instead of more power- especially considering the range reduces considerably in the colder weather

I don’t mind the lack of the sunroof/glass roof on any model. With the frequent hail storms we get, I’d rather have a metal roof than a glass roof for protection from the elements.

This vehicle is sharp on road and the drive is very comfortable.

The door handles would be annoying when we get our freezing rain during winter months.

My wife and I picked up a 2025 Equinox EV LT AWD as a second car and absolutely love it. We have a home level 2 charger so it's awesome to go out to a nicely charged car for all of our local trips. We use our Rav4 hybrid for longer trips so no need to worry about on the road charging for our Equinox EV. Things we love are the one pedal driving, remote starting in our garage here in Minnesota, quiet car, smooth driving and as Apple people we really don't miss the Apple Car Play. Oh and the $11, 000 in rebates and incentives didn't hurt either .

EV’s should be required to also provide vehicle Range while driving in colder weather (perhaps 32F for example).

I think you’re the first car reviewer that complained about a black headliner. Most reviewers complain about the gray and tan ones.

I have the exact same model you guys reviewed. Same color. My wife and I love it. We are glad it doesn't have a sunroof and I don't mind the black headliner at all. It's our first EV and again, we love it. Have had it for over 4 months. I installed a charger that can provide up to 48 amps and we do not miss going to the gas station at all. On a full charge we get 345 miles and we only fully charge when we go on a road trip. When we do need to charge on the road, some complain that it doesn't charge fast enough, but we stop, get something to eat, and we get back up to 80% pretty quick. At home we usually charge 20 - 80 or 40 - 60 for regular driving. Don't miss CarPlay at all. Great car.

I test drove an Equinox EV a few months ago in America and I liked. Lots of positives to enjoy.

EVs need to come down in price to around $35K in order to be competitive to mainstream Gasoline vehicles.

Chevy are cool. One of the best looking EV's I've seen. 👍

Love your videos, especially due to the Canadian structure of your channel. I must disagree with you guys this one time about the headliner though! I love the black headliner, and I always wish more manufacturers would use it.

As a Model Y owner, I don't miss Android Auto at all. If the infotainment is done right, you won't miss it. Chevy dealers here in Oklahoma are already discounting the Equinox EV 5-10K off the MSRP (before the rebates/incentives). They're a tougher sell here with gasoline selling for $2.15 / gallon.

Great review! I think the LT models may benefit from a light headliner and sunroof but the Rs models highly benefit from that closed in dark sporty feel that matches the outside design of the car as well on the RS models especially in all black like your tester.
