How To Tighten On Cloud Speed Laces | My Elasticated Laces Tip For You!

As an expert running shoe reviewer who's worn and run in hundreds of running shoes, including all the popular editions of On Clouds, some of you have asked me how I tighten On Cloud Speed laces. Well, this is how I have learned to do it over the years and it's super simple when you know this On Cloud elasticated laces trick. This is how to adjust on cloud laces - my way at least! ;)

Omg thank you so much for this! I’ve just recently bought the ON Cloud Tilt shoes and they are by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever had. I was just extremely frustrated by the shoe lace system they have since my shoes felt loose no matter the size I tried, particularly around my ankles. I tried this method and after a little bit of piddling around, i ended up undoing the top knot and lacing it through to the back of the free hole at the top of the shoe. Fits amazing around my ankles now and fits tight enough. Just had to retie a simple knot.

What if I want to put the laces on that come with the shoes, how do you lace them up with the four loops at the bottom?

You're suppose to to tighten the lace from the bottom up and then make a new knot at the top. Then cut off the rest.

My issue is the top feels too tight even when I removed the bottom knot and moved it one criss cross over & loosened the final top knot. I don't have an obviously high instep but it hurts after wearing these.

What if after you’ve done the two loops they still are not tight enough?

I have 2 pairs of on cloud and I’m not a fan of the laces. Whenever I try to untie my laces they always get knotted up. I like the sneakers but feel Solomon has such a superior lacing system than on cloud. Wish they had something similar.

I see there’s extra loops that aren’t being used and mine came with extra laces. Are the loops just for looks?
