NEW METHOD for Pulled Pork Butt - And Walk-Around of the TMG PITS HYBRID Pellet Grill

Показать описание
This pork butt was some of the BEST pulled pork that I've ever made - and we did it on the new TMG Pits Hybrid pellet grill and stick burner combo! I've gotten a TON of questions about this new smoker, so in this video I'll give you a more in depth look at the features, how it operates, how to clean it, etc.

And I'll show you how I'm making my smoked pulled pork from now on! A friend gave me this tip - make a mop sauce of sorts, but put it in the bottom of a foil pan and finish the pork butt off covered with foil in the pan. So you're kind of braising the pork butt in the mop sauce while it finishes cooking - SO GOOD!

Gave this a try yesterday, turned out pretty good. Smoked until 180, foil pan with “mop” sauce until 208 and let rest to 150. I had sandwiches in mind when I started so this way makes great pork for that. Not how I would cook it all the time but it’s a fast and easy cook to get way better bbq at home than you can find out it in the wild.

That's a whole lot easier than wrapping it! Thanks for the tip.

Please please please make more videos on this thing! I’m really close to pulling the trigger on one and need the extra push! Do you have the rear folding shelf on this one?

That TMG pit is a beauty. I’ll try that mop sauce on my next pork butt. Usually just use butter and some Agave nectar.

Loved the video! I was impressed how your knife sliced thru that pork fat ! Could you give some information about the knife or even show how you sharpened it to keep it that sharp! Knives are so important when bbqing or smoking large cuts of meat! Thanks in advance!

That’s the method I use and it works perfect every time. Is that smoker easy to move around and how much does it weigh?

That looks fantastic. I am scared to ask how much that would cost. Lol. You said buns I was thinking pulled pork sliders with some smoke, jalapeno jack, cheddar cheese, mac and cheese. With some good coleslaw. Fantastic

Is there any chance you'd review a vertical pellet smoker? I don't have room for a side box type, and I love my current vertical pellet smoker. (I have a 4 burner blackstone and a gril)l. Or is that blasphemous? Also, thank you for your service. Love your content. I looked up how to make crispy hashbrowns on the flat top... been binging both your channels ever since! ❤❤❤
