This was really beautiful. I love ‘hearts not parts’ and wish everyone was like Granddad.

Thank you for sharing this story! Lots of love and happiness to the couple!💛
I'm going through a similar struggle. Shortly after starting a new and healthy relationship where, for the first time, I wasn't pressured to be or act any certain type of way, I realized I had been suppressing my gender identity for years and that was the source of the unexplainable distress I had been experiencing. We've had open conversations about this with my partner since this is not what he initially signed up for and I was very afraid he would be put off, but so far he has been very supportive. However this journey is only beginning for me/us. I'm hopeful.

I’d like to be as brave as her and come out to my wife as trans and have her support. I really want and meet to further my transformation.

I think for more people to be accepting of the trans community they need to but together a very unbiased documentary to explain it all. As most people including me and all age groups just don’t understand it. All we see are the silly click bait articles about women’s toilets etc

I married a woman 2 years later she came out as a Deer 🦌 so around hunting season I keep her inside and on nice days I let her out to chew on some grass had spot of trouble with the neighbors for leaving pellets in his yard but all in all it works out

The comment about the NHS having more serious illnesses. I’m quite sure the NHS facilitated the transition!!

Always end in divorce. Never ends well. Even when the woman tries to be understanding of their spouse feelings. They are never happy, because marriage was based on a lie. The person transitioning will always think of themselves, rather than their partner. I feel sorry for the wife in this situation. They have to put up with a lot.

“Coming out”, this term is a social construct. Why do you have to tell anybody and everybody that your gay?

This is the exception though. Nobody talks about the trans widows who have been made miserable.

'Hearts not parts' is such an ignorant, self righteous saying. It implies that people's sexual orientations are not valid and they're just in it for sex, not love. Homophobic and disrespectful.
