I’m queer but she does seem a little too young to transition or comprehend what it means. The amount of hate this family gets is a bit excessive though. I don’t think people understand that you don’t just say “I’m a girl” then immediately get hormones, surgery, socially transition etc. Parents are VERY hesitant when this happens. They usually have to go to therapy, and see many doctors. And no kid is getting hormones, or medically transitioning. This is all reversible so y’all are overreacting. I think they could have waited a little bit longer so she could have more time to understand what this means. Children usually don’t have the mental capacity to go through something as huge as a transition. Although, there are studies that show children are able to know their gender by the age of 3 even if they can’t explain what those feelings are. For everyone saying she should have waited till she was much older or an adult that’s not how it works. A LOT of trans people don’t make it till they’re an adult. 41% of trans people attempt su!cide. After transitioning, it is 1/15 of the prior rate. You are 15 times less likely to off yourself after transitioning. Transitioning earlier statistically improves children’s quality of life. You should really do some research before hating on her. Most of y’all are just hating because you have no idea what actually happens when you’re trans.

First of all u can answer this or dont but would u let ur 6/7/8 yr old switch genders? Like i see 13+ being ok but a child really?!? Like thats very very very crazy. The dad shouldnt have a greed to that cause it can lead to multiple issues including. Bullying, harassment, not being accepted, etc. Next he sneaks his way into every single video when its not about him whatsoever, like it can be about a room tour and he would still show up. Or it can be about then going on tour hes there. It shouldnt be all abt Edie yk. Like theres 3 other siblings, not just Edie for once let them be apart.
