OMG! So awesome foe you to have a job that allows you to move across the world. I’m a former Army brat and spent ‘83-92 in Germany. First Pirmasean then Mainz. Went to high school in Wiesbaden. I miss Germany and Europe in general. So much history and culture that the US just doesn’t have. Love your open mindedness as well. Your daughter is going to be so well rounded and is very fortunate to have this experience.

I wish every kid in the US could have such and experience. Unfortunately some never even leave the US.

Wish you all the best!!

We were military, army 34 yrs.
We were stationed in Gräfenwöhr for 3 yrs., lived in military quarters and like you, we had an almost 4 yr. old little girl. We had a great time, traveling, shopping, crystal, ( Nachtmann, Beyer) dishes etc.
It is what you make of it, just be open minded. Pick up some basic german, that will make the tour more enjoyable. We spent 20 years altogether in Germany, (Karlsruhe, Frankfurt and Heidelberg 2x We were stationed in Korea so I picked up basic Korean, read and write. Spent 5 years in Shape, Belgium, we really liked every assignment. I can tell that you guys are ready to have a blast and teach your little girl all good things the world and life has to offer. Best wishes and good luck in all you do. 🇩🇪 🍺🥨🥐🥾
I wish you all the best

So, welcome to Germany, soon. Hope <ou have time to see not only Bayern and Baden-Würtemberg, where the US has most of there Bases. The other parts of Germany is also nice to see, especially the both coastlines. Some of the north sea islands ar even car-free. So, great places to calm down, not to mention the different architecture, food, livestyle etc. But you will figure out. 🙂

I've got American friends here in Germany and also watched many different channels from Americans living in Germany. They all seem to love Germany, once they got used to the differences.

So glad I ran across your channel. Looking forward to following you all as you open up a new chapter. Love Germany, lived there for a while as a teen (Army brat) and travel back often.

Welcome to Germany! As an American, it's definitely awesome to live here. Since you guys are going to be based in Army base, be sure to try and experience the German culture outside of the base. It's a lot easier for an American to move to Germany because of the benefits and comfort of being in the U.S. based. Enjoy guys!

"Get a car, ship it". Cars are built in Germany and Europe.
Do you carry owls to Athens? They are already there.
For European approval you need different requirements than for the US.
The rear turn signals must not be red, they must be amber and separate.

Cars in Europe are usually a bit smaller than in the US. This makes it easier to find a parking space.

Welcome to Germany! I hope that you’ll like it here, Bavaria has beautiful places to visit ! My best friend lives in Bamberg but she’ll move to Würzburg (lower Frankonia) next month and it’s a beautiful City !
I live in North-Rhine-Westfalia close to the Dutch border but I’m very often over in Bavaria (or better said I was very often in Bavaria until Covid happened)
Stay healthy

Wow great guys! I stumbled over your channel today and it's amazing! Cool that you are in Grafenwöhr! I'm not far away (Nuremberg region) and two years ago I was on the German American Volksfest in Grafenwöhr and it was great! So all the best to you and hopefully you enjoy your time here! 👍👍👍
