I can only imagine how hard it must be for you leaving friends and family behind although be it (probably?) temporarily.
And while Germany, as with almost every other country in the world, has it's own particularities to take note, it's actually quite nice here in terms of people, living in general, costs, health care, climate etc.

Did you sell your home in america. My home has gone up more then $130, 000 in the last five years.
This year I'm hoping it to $50, 000 or more in value in america. I can only guess you are taking your profits on the sale of your in america and use it to buy a new home in germany.
