Honestly besides the 90s beauties the 10th gen was everything we could have asked for in a stock civic, from body styling in the coup to the hatchback. Plus after running the 1.5t for awhile now it's overall fun and reliable. It's like an enthusiast perfect daily

Love seeing how people modify these after helping build them as my old job. So cool to see what people do with them

If you plan on modding the Si, you NEED a clutch for the extra performance.

10th gens are super dope and they’re very loud and aggressive looking, love the way the coupes look!

I went +40 with 255/35's and I love the fit, I track my car too, solid flush setup with poke at the bottom of the fenders. Only rubs when I hit the carousel at Summit Point/Shenny but I'm also on stock suspension...

The civics with the K-series engine are low-key the best

Love the civics! Will eventually be getting the fk8 type r, still a few years away before that, once I have the money obviously, but can't wait!!

Just bout a new set of Enkei TS5 Bronze wheels, 18x9.5-38. And some Tein S-Tech lowering springs for my 2021 Civic! And this video was big help for other mods I want to do! Thanks Fitment!

Also worth mentioning that any quirk you can think of in this car has a fix with aftermarket support. The shifter in the non-Si/TR models is a little weird, admittedly (apparently shifter revision came in '18 but I can't speak for that personally), but you have companies such as Acuity who have developed direct-replacement parts to eliminate any of this weird stuff because it is SUCH a popular platform, and companies like 27Won that have been developing their own turbos, fmics, rmm's etc.

And so many of these companies have had a hand in the 11th gen already, with Acuity having their hand in the R&D for the 11th gen's shifter design. New Civics are really a great car to be in.

Got a 2018 hatchback sport color white love the car. It’s a beast overall! I’m going to wait to pay it off before I start modding it I should’ve got a 2019 though it’s got a touch screen and push to start..

I had Konig Hypergrams 18x9.5 +35 with Hancook V12 evo2's (255/40ZR18) on my 2019 FK8 Type R...looks really good on stock suspension. Quite a bit of weigh saving to coming from the stock 20 inch rims. Feels even more punch when under acceleration. All bought at Fitment Industries might I add... :)

One guy said the first power mod should be an upgraded intercooler, because when you start messing with the intake and exhaust, it pushes more air into the engine so you want an upgraded intercooler. I also got some aesthetics, like I threw an SI knob onto my EX-T and fitted neoprene seat covers. I got that big SI looking spoiler from Ikon Motorsports but I'm waiting for a nice cool day to install it it's been too hot out

Perfect timing since I’m planning to get a 10th gen SI this summer! I had a question regarding suspension though, I know the factory adjustable dampening system doesn’t play nicely with most sets of coil overs. The type R has an aftermarket set of coil overs that work with the stock switches but I haven’t seen anything for the SI’s
