Australia is an incredible producer, not only of athletes, but also scientific and biological research, innovators and creativity in both Hollywood and unseen behind the scenes talents. How is that possible in a population of only 20 million odd people? Is it the weather? Is it the genetics of such a diverse genetic and cultural gene pool? I think it is a country that has natural resources that fund nascent talent from kindergarten to graduation. They give the opportunity for talent to bloom. And well done them!
