20 Denim Terms You Should Know

In this video I hope to help you understand this world of premium denim by defining some of the tricky terminology you'll find, and the one I had to look up in the beginning!

I just got a pair of Roundhouse American made jeans and they’re excellent. It is raw denim and they were only $60, best pair of jeans I’ve ever owned.

Wow! Great info the stitching was my fav part. I always regret taking my jeans to the cleaners for a hem because they never come back with the original type of hem stitching. You'd think you wouldn't have to ask. Now I know what to request and how to spot the difference. Thanks🙏

Wow! ...I was just researching denim for some aprons I wanted to start making...I just learned so much more than I thought I needed to know..lol..so informative! Thank you!..oh and as a quilter and sewing enthusiast..selvage isn’t a fancy word and anyone trying to make it sound glamorous probably couldn’t tell boxed wine from fine wine anyway! Super helpful man, I was into designer washed denim for example: robin jeans, rock revivals, true religion but I got my first pair of Rag and Bone salvage and I noticed on the tag it said hand wash only so I looked up how to care for my salvage and boom, I’m now hooked on raw denim, very helpful for the terminology thank you 🙏
