I am the biggest late bloomer i know of, never had a GF, never went out, had no friends, was always of weak body, had no ambitions, no dreams. My whole family and people i knew at school bullied me and laughed at me for years, until i snapped one day. Im 28 today and i started to work really hard when i was 17 and boy let me tell you i surpassed every single person i ever knew in these 11 years, both socially, physically and career wise i made a literal 180 focusing on my self and im not stopping.

EDIT: I see that there are now way too many people to reply to and i would honestly, but i just dont have the time from work and life, im just gonna say thank you for all your support and kind words and if youre going through bad times at least i hope my comment gave you some courage to face them head on. Believe in yourself!!!

"The situational stress that's produced by that certain situational will unlock new genes and builds new parts of you". That might be the deepest and most inspirational thing I've ever heard

I heard a saying once along the line of ‘you could be the person that break the chain of poverty in your family’. like finally being the first person from your ancestry tree that finally makes something of themselves in the world. That’s what this explanation reminds me of.

This makes a lot of sense. In fact, a real world example of this is David Goggins who describes how he broke everything he feared (swimming, learning, etc.) to make himself basically super human.

It's in how he's able to even articulate this. He puts more logic in what would've been reasoned by analogy.

I want to be able to articulate thoughts and ideas as well as him. So much knowledge and understanding this man brings to the world 🙏🏼

I love this perspective on 'potential' because Jordan explains that you literally have potential built into your genetic code waiting to be unlocked which I think is a great message for people who live with self doubt, lack of confidence and the belief that they don't have the potential to become what they want to become or achieve what they want to achieve. It's no longer a matter of IF you have the potential its now a matter of do you have the will power and discipline to unlock it.
This short video has certainly changed my perspective on things and given me lots to think about.

Casually says " Hey so I figured something that I thought I should tell you, this took me 30 years " the humility of this man!

This is one of the best single piece of positive, dense, thoughts that I've heard in a long long while. You only need this philosophy to improve your life, bcs everything you need to know is in it.

We all got that inner beast inside us. Visualize it, even give it a name.
Don’t try to fight it, tame it.

Find a partner whos not afraid to correct you and youll be everything you want to be.

Its not easy, ego will be there most of the time but nothing great is easy.

This video made a lightbulb pop on top of my head !!!!

So I lived with my father for a year (I lived with my mother my whole life) and he would try and teach me a bunch of life skills with work, cooking, family everything and anything. Basically how to be an adult and a man. So I moved back to my home town after living with him for a year and I moved out on my own which was a bit accomplishment and Suddenly everything he taught me came flooding back to me and I instantly started implementing it into my everyday life. Now when my father was teaching me all this stuff it was just nonsense to my young teenage brain.

I feel as if moving out and being thrown into the deep made a switch go off in my head and everything that was background noising came flooding back. I feel like this video completely represents what happened.

That is a brilliant way to look and putting oneself under stress voluntarily .. to unlock ancestral genes. Thanks Jordan... I will remember this forever.
