My Canon APS-C 18-150mm (28-240mm FF equivalent) is the most versatile lens I ever had. A wide focal range and still small and light.

Really like your channel. I usually use the 150-600 most of the times cause birds and wildlife are still my most favourite subjects. But i really consider to buy a nice versitile zoom lens....like 18-140 or something like that.

Up until recently my most used lens on my Nikon Z 6ii was the 24-70 f2.8. But I recently bought the 24-200 f4-6.3 as a travel lens and am looking forward to using that instead. The extra focal length is what sold me on it. One lens to rule them all (especially if you want to travel light).

My favorite so far is the Nikon 50mm f1.8 pancake. It's ridiculously sharp. My favorite shots have come from this lens.

My favourite is my Lumix 14-140 MFT lens (giving me 28 - 280 full frame equivalent) for same reason as you. It's small, light and great range for everyday use. Combined with some fast primes it's perfect.

I carry two Nikon DX AF-P VR version lenses namely a 18-55mm and a 70-300mm.
Less distortion and corner softness along with insanely fast AF.

I’d go with the 70-200 f/2.8 for the versitility. Love the isolation it can create at 200mm. 👏
